The Global Institute for Mathematical Sciences focuses on Project-Based Learning (PBL) programs. GIMS has three levels of research experience for High School students depending on the needs and ambitions of the student. Find out more below, and follow the PBL tab to see the kinds of projects that GIMS mentors have explored with high school students in the past.

Successful students should anticipate to begin the program the month after they are admitted, or the earliest thereafter. However, we also have a rolling review of applicants and shorter programs might start during later months, subject to space restrictions and mentor availability.
We have a dynamic pricing model that takes into account factors such as project length, complexity, mentor availability, and student needs. Fees for programs will fall between $10,000-$50,000 for weekly or fortnightly mentor meetings in our standard or premium programs, the exact amount to be stipulated in the offer letters based on student's particular program needs. If you have potential external funding sources and would like to explore partnerships, do reach out to us via the contact form above.
