How the fellowships work
GIMS fellowships are funded by sponsors and administered by the Institute. Mentors are appointed and assigned by GIMS, ensuring a clear, professional framework aligned with how academic research programs operate.

What you’ll do as a GIMS Fellow

• Define a research question and plan

• Meet regularly with an appointed mentor

• Produce a final artifact (paper / poster / talk / competition submission)

• Learn research communication and revision
